Courtney L. Kuhn (Marous), CCIM, is a Senior Vice President at Avison Young, specializing exclusively in industrial properties, users, and investments. 

Courtney joined Avison Young in the Fall of 2014, when she launched her career as one of the first females in the region to specialize exclusively in the industrial sector. Her global business background, international supply chain, and logistics experience brings a fresh perspective and collaborative cadence, unique to the brokerage industry. 

Courtney is a founding partner of the K.I.Y. Industrial & Investment Services Team (“K.I.Y. Industrial Team”) of Avison Young South Carolina & Savannah, GA, which consists of three industrial brokers (Courtney L. Kuhn (Marous), CCIM, Alex Irwin, and Ryan Young) supported by a dedicated marketing and administrative coordinator, along with other staff of the Avison Young Charleston, SC, office. 

The team collaborates closely on each and every project and client requirement – identifying and utilizing each individual’s skills and expertise to maximize the effectiveness of the team.  

As the team lead, Courtney drives the strategic business development, technology and innovation, research, materials development, financial and network analysis, and leads the client interfacing and overall operations of the team. 

Collaborative, innovative, passionate, and an expert in her field, Courtney is always engaging her team, clients, peers, and community. It’s all about relationships – collecting and connecting the dots. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, Courtney worked at C.H. Robinson Worldwide, one of the world’s largest third-party logistics companies, where she gained invaluable experience managing her client’s supply chains and collaborating with leading manufacturers, distributors, big box retailers, and global trade experts. 

Courtney is a proud alumni of the College of Charleston, where she received her bachelor of science in International Business in 2012 and was recently awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation through the CCIM Institute. The CCIM designation is commercial real estate’s global standard for professional achievement and held by less than 10 percent of commercial real estate investors and advisors – making them the go-to experts in their respective markets.
