Avison Young in Minneapolis

Avison Young’s Minneapolis office opened its doors in March 2015. One of the newest strategic American expansions, Minneapolis-St. Paul represents Avison Young’s 44th office in the U.S., another step in the firm’s ongoing aggressive growth strategy.

The Minneapolis team initially concentrated on building a tenant representation practice, with a focus on office and industrial clients. In addition to tenant representation, Avison Young Minneapolis now offers a full range of services to owners and investors of real estate. Services include acquisition, disposition, leasing and capital markets. Furthermore, the Minneapolis office has gained significant ground in project management services with professionals who have vast experience in build-to-suit, tenant improvements and base-building repositioning projects.

Area Overview

The greater Minneapolis-St. Paul region has everything a business needs to thrive, rated seventh as a top state for business in America based on cost of doing business, workforce, transportation and infrastructure, education, access to capital and quality of life.   The 16-county Minneapolis-St. Paul region consistently ranks among the best places to do business in the United States.  Four key attributes that set us apart: a resilient, diverse economy anchored by 19 Fortune 500 companies, a penchant for innovation, a highly-educated workforce -- one of the best in the nation -- and an outstanding quality of life. All these factors help put the region on the short list for site selectors, business owners, entrepreneurs and creative class workers from around the globe.
