Avison Young Leases 22K Square Feet in 1100 Peachtree for New Relic, Inc.’s East Coast Headquarters5 Mar 2020

Metro Atlanta CEO - Avison Young Principal and broker, Doug Eidson, along with San Francisco based Principal and broker David Linsmayer, represented San Francisco-based New Relic, Inc. in its new lease deal for 22,500 square feet at 1100 Peachtree, a 28-story, LEED-certified, Class A office building conveniently located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. The cloud-based observability company signed a 10-year lease deal to occupy the entire 20th floor of 1100 Peachtree, making Atlanta its third largest U.S. office.
New Relic intends to move its Atlanta-based employees from a co-working space in Midtown this year, with the new space allowing more flexibility for additional growth.
“New Relic’s growth [profile] meant that the company needed a dedicated space for its growing Atlanta team. With the help of David Linsmayer, my counterpart in Avison Young’s San Francisco office, we provided New Relic with several options for space in Midtown Atlanta,” said Doug Eidson - Principal with Avison Young. “With convenient access to public transit and the flexibility to accommodate future expansion, 1100 Peachtree ended up being the clear choice,” he added.
