Joe Fabie earns highly sought-after designation

Charleston, SC – Chris Fraser, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s South Carolina and Savannah, GA, offices today announced that Joe Fabie, the firm’s Director of Real Estate Management Services, has earned the Certified Property Management (CPM) designation offered through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

The CPM designation is one of the most highly sought-after designations by commercial real estate management professionals. Among demonstrating proficiency in coursework ranging from advanced financial concepts to leading an organization, candidates must meet IREM’s rigorous experience requirements and ethical standards.

“Congratulations to Joe for furthering his professional development so that he and our team can continue to provide top notch management services to our clients,” said Fraser.

Joe is one of only 15 active management professionals in the Charleston region that has earned the CPM designation. Statewide, there are less than 100 active professionals with these credentials. Further setting him apart from his peers, Joe is the only real estate management professional in the Charleston area who holds both a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) (West Virginia University College of Law, 2014) and CPM. This unique combination of education and experience allow him to better serve clients and find creative solutions to complex issues.
