About Rudy

Rudy Barber has been a licensed real estate professional for more than 30 years. He began his career in commercial real estate, gaining foundational experience across landlord and tenant representation, buyer representation, and land acquisition. His early work included contributions to several meaningful initiatives, such as supporting a company’s introduction of the region’s first Cyclotron PET scan capability and participating in a 600-acre land transaction intended for future development. This broad exposure enables him to approach each assignment with a strategic and informed perspective.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Rudy owned and operated a lighting manufacturers’ representative agency for eight years, during which he worked closely with interior designers, architects, engineering firms, and an array of additional organizations involved in the planning, design, and execution of development projects. His company supported a wide range of building and development initiatives. From new construction and retrofit programs to large-scale environments such as stadiums and commercial campuses, enhancing his understanding of the technical, design, and operational considerations that influence complex real estate projects.

A lifelong resident of the area, Rudy brings exceptional market knowledge and deeply rooted community relationships, enabling him to deliver strategic insight, informed guidance, and a strong commitment to the clients he serves.
