Project Manager (PM) – Construction

Avison Young - Project Management (USA), LLC is looking for a Project Manager – Construction to support our Boston office. This role provides professional project management support to clients. The PM is responsible for all aspects of a project from the planning phase through final project completion and post construction. The PM guides the client through a project by giving them the information to make informed, intelligent decisions. The PM works professionally in collaboration with management, staff, clients, owners and vendors.

  • Cost Management Control

  • Owner Vendor Coordination

  • Schedule Management

  • Quality Control

  • Subcontractor Management

  • Project Closeout

  • Certificate of Occupancy


  • Construction industry experience in a variety of building projects (commercial, retail, higher education, etc.), and the ability to give clear directions

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Experience with pre-construction and estimating

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Solid understanding of project financials and the ability to manage cash flow requirements and identify areas of concern

  • Strong administrative skills, organization, and time management

  • Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. word, excel, etc.) and MS Project software

  • LEED Accreditation is preferred but not required
