Avison Young negotiates new 37,561-sf lease for Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills dealership

Los Angeles, Calif. — Global commercial real estate advisor, Avison Young, has negotiated a multi-decade, 37,561-square-foot lease on behalf of the ownership for the relocation of Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills – a Fletcher Jones Company – dealership located at 8825 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Calif. Situated on .65 acres, this site provides Mercedes Benz and Fletcher Jones the platform to grow the brand and business in the high profile, high-street retail location of Beverly Hills.
Jodi V. Meade, Principal & National Director of Avison Young’s Automotive Properties Group (APG) represented the landlord, 8825 Wilshire LLC. The tenant was self-represented and relocated its local dealership from its former Beverly Hills-adjacent location at 9250 Beverly Boulevard. It will continue to use its existing service/repair center at 400 Foothill Road in Beverly Hills.

Situated on Wilshire Boulevard, the property offers unparalleled visibility and presence on Beverly Hills’ most traveled retail corridor. Surrounding this property are the retail showrooms of Ferrari, Pagani, McLaren, and Audi Beverly Hills, some of the most recognized names in exotic and luxury vehicle sales. Marshall Goldman Beverly Hills, luxury and exotic pre-owned car dealership, was the previous tenant and relocated across the street.
Meade deal-matched with the Fletcher Jones franchise, a decades-long relationship, and executed the transaction in record time.
“I have done a lot of deals in Beverly Hills over the years and that experience was an important part of navigating the approval process with the city, landlord and tenant, ultimately compressing the overall move-in timeline,” added Meade.
Mercedes-Benz Beverly Hills opened its doors last month and is currently in the process of exterior remodeling that is anticipated to be completed later this year.
