Kristi Littell
CEO @Wissahickon Charter School
Kristi Littell became the CEO of Wissahickon Charter School in 2007. As CEO, Ms. Littell's work centers largely on academic oversight, administrative supervision, development, strategic planning, budget oversight, and working with the Board of Trustees and other stakeholders to reach the institution's long-term goals. Prior to that, she was a founding teacher of the school and served as the school’s first Environmental Educator and Grant Writer. She orchestrated Wissahickon’s environmental program where she developed, implemented, and mentored faculty in the interdisciplinary, hands-on, environmental approach that has become the hallmark of Wissahickon Charter's curriculum. Kristi has a passion for urban ecology. In previous positions, Kristi was committed to exposing urban children to the wonders of the earth and the belief that all children deserve a quality education. Ms. Littell holds a B.A. from Haverford College and has completed Master's classes at Arcadia University.
Paul Dean
Co-Founder and Executive Director @Jounce Partners
Paul Dean co-founded Jounce Partners, an organization dedicated to accelerating learning for students in underserved communities by helping teachers and principals get better, faster. Through the Pandemic, Jounce is supporting schools, like Wissahickon Charter, in preparation for a wide variety of uncertain contingencies in their effort to return to school. Paul focuses on Jounce Partner’s design, execution and effectiveness of programming. He works closely with the entire Jounce team and Board to develop and refine the Jounce model. Prior to co-founding Jounce Partners, Paul worked at New Orleans College Preparatory (NOCP), an award winning urban charter school in New Orleans, LA. At NOCP, Paul served on the five-person school leadership team, managed teachers as an instructional coach, and taught English and science. Paul holds a B.A. from Yale University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Jennifer Stark, AIA, CSBA
Senior Project Manager @Avison Young
Jennifer Stark is a licensed architect, has a M.S. in historic preservation and is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA) who specializes in the preservation, rehabilitation, and adaptive use of historic buildings and the design of sensitive additions to historic buildings. Jennifer also has experience in ground-up construction, master planning, code compliance studies, and grant writing. She manages all aspects of projects, including procurement, design, construction, contractor / vendor coordination and oversight, project documentation, furniture acquisition and personnel relocation efforts. Jennifer has over 25 years of experience working as an architect. Prior to joining Avison Young, she was the founder and principle of Stark Design, which enjoyed over 19 years of success.
