Avison Young negotiates full-building, 88,601-sf industrial lease on behalf of STATS International, Inc. in Houston, Texas
Houston, TX – Global Commercial Real Estate Advisor, Avison Young, announces today it has negotiated a full-building, 88,601-square-foot (sf) industrial lease on behalf of the tenant, STATS International, Inc., an oil field equipment supplier. The property is located at 6401 N. Eldridge Parkway Building U in Houston, TX.
Avison Young Principals Anthony Squillante and Drew Coupe, who are out of the firm’s Houston office, represented STATS International. The landlord, Brennan Investment Group, was represented by John Ferruzzo and Jack Ferruzzo with KBC Advisors, as well as Ryan Wasaff and Cole Bercher with Welcome Group.
“Our client’s requirement was to identify a crane-served facility in northwest Houston to allow for growth, which was a big challenge given the scarcity of this product type,” said Coupe. “Our team successfully and quickly negotiated favorable lease terms in a fast-moving market.”
STATS will occupy the facility in approximately 45 days and is relocating from within Houston’s northwest submarket.
“The momentum and demand for crane-served facilities are very strong in Houston and at approximately 2.9% vacancy, there are very few options available,” added Squillante. “With not many choices, groups either have to wait a long period of time for availability or build a facility to suit.”
