Laura Cain is a results-driven business operations leader with over 17 years of experience. As Director of Operations for US Property Management at Avison Young, Laura brings a strategic, forward-thinking approach to optimizing operational performance across diverse portfolios. 

Her expertise spans financial management, process transformation, technology implementation, and team leadership. Laura has successfully led multimillion-dollar budgets and capital projects, driven enterprise-wide system upgrades, and championed initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. She is known for her ability to assess organizational challenges, develop actionable solutions, and foster cross-functional collaboration. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, Laura held leadership roles at Brookfield Properties, M&J Wilkow, CBRE, and JLL, where she consistently delivered measurable impact and operational excellence. She holds a Colorado Real Estate License and is a candidate for both PMP and CPM certifications.

Laura is an active industry contributor, serving on the BOMA Board of Directors and chairing its Education & Programs Committee. She has also authored thought leadership pieces, including a published article in the Colorado Real Estate Journal. Her commitment to excellence was recognized with a Regional TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Award, celebrating her achievements in property management and operational leadership.
