Marissa Rose is a Vice President in Avison Young’s Capital Markets Group. She is responsible for market research, property underwriting and preparation of offering materials for transactions which Avison Young brings to market.  She provides support throughout the property marketing process including responding to investor questions, participating in property tours and coordinating all aspects of the due diligence process.  Marissa recently was an integral team memb  er in the successful deconversion of the Kennelly Square Condominiums, a 268 unit condominium property in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago.  Prior to joining the Capital Markets & Development team, Marissa was a member of the Retail Advisory Services Group at Avison Young. In that role, Ms. Rose and the Chicago Retail Advisory Group represented national, regional and local retailers with site selection, lease negotiations, dispositions and market analytics.

Before joining the Retail Advisory Group, Marissa served as the National Financial Analyst for Avison Young’s U.S. Capital Markets Group. Prior to joining Avison Young, she excelled as associate property manager on the Chicago Industrial team at Cushman & Wakefield.

In her spare time, Marissa sits on the St Jude Young Professionals Board of Chicago supporting St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Next Generation Chicago chapter. Marissa also serves on the Young Alumni Leadership Council of her alma mater, the University of Miami.

Credentials

Marissa is recently completed her MBA at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management where she served as President of the Kellogg Student Association. Marissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois.

Marissa has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2015. She was the recipient of Avison Young’s 2014 Young Gun Professional of the Year Award.
