Rob Foss is a Senior Vice President in Avison Young's Nashville office. Rob is a 27-year veteran of the retail real estate field having completed hundreds of transactions on a variety of retail projects in many markets for both landlords and tenants, ranging from local to institutional across the region. Rob has also owned and developed retail property himself and brings a background of construction, architecture and finance to the team.

Rob is perennially among the highest producing retail brokers in the market, having begun his own company in 2013, subsequently merging with Avison Young in 2015.

Rob has few peers in the retail leasing market with the blend of know-how, industry relationships and transaction experience necessary to execute effectively and exceptionally for Landlords, Developers or as an integral part of a retailer’s growth strategy.

Rob formalized his ambassador role for Nashville to the retail industry as the incoming ICSC State Director for Tennessee and as Chair of the Regional ICSC Convention at the Music City Center in 2016, 2017 and 2019, playing host to nearly 800 industry professionals visiting downtown Nashville from around the region and country.
