Sam Chow is a Vice President with Avison Young’s Capital Markets Group focusing on multifamily in Southern California.

He has been involved in over $5 billion in multifamily transactions since 2002 at Insignia/ESG, Colliers International, Transwestern, Multi-Housing Capital Advisors and CBRE. His transaction experience includes existing core, core plus and value-add rentals, high-rise deals, mixed-use deals, pre-stabilized deals, transit-oriented developments, value-add repositionings, affordable housing, student housing, urban infill properties, ground leases, pre-sales, condominium conversions and reversions, and land sales for multifamily and mixed-use development.

Prior to 2002, he was a Consultant with CBRE’s Strategic Technology Solutions group and worked at PropertyFirst.com, which merged with LoopNet. He has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, with emphases in Real Estate and Information Systems, and completed the Real Property Development & Management Program. He is a licensed California real estate broker.
