About Adam

Adam Haefner, SIOR joined Avison Young in 2019 as a principal in the industrial brokerage services group.  Throughout his 26 years in commercial real estate, Mr. Haefner has assisted corporate clients and institutional owners with landlord representation, tenant representation, build-to-suits, investment sales, site acquisitions, valuations, sale-leasebacks, site selection, and obtaining incentives in the Chicago Metropolitan area and internationally.  Mr. Haefner is the past president of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).  Prior to joining Avison Young, he served as the Director of Brokerage Services for Darwin Realty and Development Corp.

Since joining Avison Young, Adam has been involved in transactions totaling 17.05 million square feet, 1,679 acres, and over $976 million in total consideration. Collectively, throughout his career, Mr. Haefner has consummated more than 49 million square feet of transactions with a total consideration of over $1.46 billion by representing a large array of institutional investors and users including:
