About Alex

Alex has over 12 years of experience in industrial commercial real estate transactions in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. The top overall producer in the Charleston office in 2024, Alex has tremendous experience in identifying personalized solutions for corporate occupiers and institutional investors. Resourceful and devoted, Alex takes the time to thoroughly understand his clients’ requirements, while maintaining a reputation of efficient work in creating value and cost savings.

Alex leads the Charleston industrial team and has worked on all sides of sale and lease transactions for clients that include, LRC Properties, BentallGreenOak, Magnus Development Partners, DHL, Hill-Rom, Tri Star Freight, Southeastern Freight Lines, SeaFox Boats, Sunbelt, PODS, and many others.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Alex worked for two top-five international commercial real estate firms. He launched his career in commercial real estate brokerage right out of college. At age 25, he was named one of Newmark’s national “Under 35 Stars” and sat on a panel at the company’s 2015 National Industrial Strength Connections Summit. Before turning 28, Alex was twice recognized in his firm’s state-wide top-5 producers.

A former NCAA Division I college basketball player at the University of South Carolina, Alex proudly brings the same work ethic, determination and collaboration ability he demonstrated on the hardwood to his commercial real estate practice. When he isn’t grinding on a warehouse requirement, Alex enjoys coaching varsity basketball at Porter Gaud School and playing the piano.
