About Alexandra

Alexandra Marolda stands as a Director within the Tri-State Investment Sales Team. Born and raised on the Upper West Side, Alexandra was introduced to the real estate world at an early age. With over five years of invaluable experience on the principal side, she seamlessly transitioned her expertise to Avison Young.

Starting her real estate career as a Property Manager, she oversaw a diverse real estate portfolio encompassing 1,200 residential units and 50 retail spaces across Manhattan and the Greater New York City area. Demonstrating her dynamism, Alexandra quickly ascended to the role of Senior Asset Manager, overseeing renovations, residential and retail leasing applications, supervising Property Managers, as well as dispositions and acquisitions.

Joining Avison Young in 2019, Alexandra quickly established herself as a key contributor and trusted resource for both her team and the broader real estate community. With a foundation in multifamily and retail assets, she has since leveraged her adaptability and market expertise to become highly proficient across multiple asset classes. In recent years, her focus has centered on development and land transactions, office, and mixed-use assets. Since joining Avison Young, Alexandra has successfully completed more than $800 million in commercial real estate transactions.

Beyond her commitments to sales excellence, Alexandra passionately invests her time in fostering community and empowerment. She co-founded the Avison Young New York City Women’s Network in 2022, dedicating herself to its advancement. Furthermore, her role as Avison Young’s New York City Emerging Leaders Ambassador from 2021 - 2023 underscores her commitment to nurturing the next generation of real estate leaders and giving back to her community through volunteer initiatives. She also joined SparkYouth’s Co-factor Council in 2024 to further this initiative.
