About Alexis

Alexis Friedman joined Avison Young in 2025 as Client Services Coordinator supporting the South Florida retail leasing team. She graduated from Florida State University in the spring of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate.

Alexis gained exposure to the real estate industry through a residential real estate internship, where she developed a strong understanding of how the market functions and began exploring the commercial side of the business. Most recently, Alexis completed a Retail Management Training Program at Nordstrom, which provided valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of a retail store and the key factors that drive sales performance and customer engagement. This experience allowed her to better understand retail trends, consumer behavior, and site dynamics. Through these experiences, she has built a solid foundation that combines real estate knowledge and hands-on retail experience, giving her a unique perspective on how location, operations, and brand strategy intersect to create successful retail environments.
