Atlanta office leasing finds a bright spot in law firms’ continued demand

– Law firms have been one of the most active office-using industries in Atlanta, with more than 100 new leases signed since 2024 accounting for 12% of overall leasing activity.

– While some industries are right-sizing office space, law firms are showing a distinct pattern of consistency with only 12.3% downsizing.

– New-to-market firms accounted for 10.7% of deals, while 28.7% of firms expanded their space, and the largest share of leasing activity (48.3%) came from tenants renewing in the same amount of space – showing that law firms continue to provide stable, durable office demand in Atlanta.
