Avison Young announces lease with first manga book café to open in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas – Global commercial real estate advisor, Avison Young, announced today it has negotiated a five-year, 2,032-square-foot retail lease on behalf the landlord of  Rainbow Sunset Pavilion, a retail strip center located at 6375 South Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas. The tenant is Namu Manga & Book Café and will be the only  retail concept of its kind in Las Vegas. Opening is anticipated for early 2027.

Avison Young Vice President-Retail Hillary Steinberg and Senior Associate Corina Towle represented the ownership, a private trust. The tenant was represented by Edward Orasi of KW Commercial.

Rachel Kim, the owner of Namu Manga & Book Café wanted to open a location in Las Vegas as manga has been growing world-wide.

“Rainbow Sunset Pavilion was an ideal location for the tenant as it is just off Interstate 215 and has a strong mix of complementary tenants that provide good crossover traffic including The Cracked Egg, Mega Claw, Starbucks and Archi’s Thai Bistro,” said Steinberg.

Towle added, “This area of Las Vegas is emerging as a second Chinatown. In addition to Archi’s Thai and Bonchon, there is Hawker Co. Singa Malay Street Food in the center. Overall, we believe this manga café will attract a younger demographic and provide a quiet place for customers to study or work.”
