About Brandon

Brandon Polakoff is a Principal and Head of NYC Investment Sales based in Avison Young’s New York City office. In this role, he leads a team of more than 30 professionals, assisting clients with the sale of multifamily, office, development, and retail assets in the New York City area and beyond.

Brandon is recognized as one of the youngest Principals in the company, a distinction earned through his outstanding performance since joining the firm in 2018. In 2023, at age 33, he received the Graeme Young Award as the #1 producer across all service lines worldwide.

Brandon has been widely recognized for his achievements in the commercial real estate industry. His accolades include:

• 2018: Named one of Commercial Observer’s 30 Under 30 Top Leasing and Sales Professionals; recipient of Connect Media’s Next Generation Award.

Since its inception in 2018, Brandon has been the top producer for Avison Young Tri-State Investment Sales. Additionally, he has received the firm's Circle of Excellence Award every year since 2019—his first full year with the firm—recognizing him as one of the top producers across all service lines worldwide (~5,000 employees across 100+ countries).

Prior to joining Avison Young, Brandon worked in the Investment Sales Group at Cushman & Wakefield in New York. He has been involved in transactions exceeding an aggregate value of $5 billion.

Brandon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College and participated in the Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2010. While at Trinity, he was a member of the varsity men's lacrosse team and was named to the 2012 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Team and the 2012 NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
