Chuck Kusbit joined Avison Young as a result of the November 2013 acquisition of McShea & Company, Inc.  Continuing in a role he had at McShea & Company, Inc., Chuck is the Director of Brokerage Services and is responsible for oversight of the company’s leasing efforts for Avison Young’s Suburban Maryland office.  He also continues to transact business and is a valued advisor for some of the company’s key clients.

Chuck has over 28 years of commercial leasing experience, and was a founder of Scheer Partners, Inc., a successful, Maryland based brokerage firm.  With an emphasis on agency representation, Chuck has leased many of Montgomery County’s notable office buildings. A sampling of owners which Chuck has represented includes Guardian Realty, Willco Companies, W.C. & A.N. Miller Companies and the Westfield Corporation. Well-known tenant clients include Wells Fargo, AT&T, Manor Care, MedStar and American University School of Law.
