About Chris

A seasoned professional in commercial real estate and lifestyle brand sales, Chris Helft has a keen ability to meet the needs of his clients with efficiency and honesty. Chris joined Avison Young in 2022 and specializes in the retail, healthcare, and office sectors. 

Chris returns to commercial real estate after a ten-year stint in the luxury automotive sales industry. He played a key role in creating and launching a new Triumph motorcycle dealership in downtown Indianapolis, which won sales records in 2021. His firsthand experience as a retailer has proven invaluable to his clients, particularly those in the retail sector. 

After opening the Triumph dealership, Chris shifted his career back to commercial real estate, which he approaches with a renewed interest, energy, and focus on building strong client relationships. During his 17 years in commercial real estate, he managed leasing responsibilities at the Naab Road Surgery Center/medical office building in Indianapolis, as well as Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
