Christian B. Stanton is a Principal at Avison Young with a distinguished track record in commercial real estate, specializing in retail-focused strategic development. With 18 years of experience, he is recognized as a multi-market consultant, advising a diverse institutional client base and specializes in both tenant and landlord representation.

Over the course of his career, Christian has completed numerous lease transactions across the United States and throughout New York City executing leasing strategies for both multinational retailers and global property owners. In the past decade alone, he has completed transactions exceeding $800 million in total aggregate leasing value.

Christian has built long-standing relationships with Fortune 100/500 companies that rely on his market insight and hands-on approach to managing their real estate portfolios. By combining data-driven strategy with local expertise, he has successfully advised multiple first-to-market as well as direct-to-consumer brands entering the U.S Market. Christian’s understanding of client’s business objectives and execution of retail strategies have established him as a leading retail consultant. 

Prior to his career in real estate, Christian worked in advertising sales at CBS Corporation, where he structured advertising campaigns for global brands. In that role, he developed strong sales expertise in a highly competitive environment, managing and maximizing revenue across a broad portfolio of national and international accounts.

• Lego – Two-level 11,000 sf global flagship at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Fifth Avenue
• McDonald’s - 12,000 sf corporate flagship location at 1530 Broadway which included a 10,000 sf LED billboard (one of the largest) in Times Square
• Target – 23,000 sf East Side location was so successful that they opened a second More than double the size in the same submarket
• Nike – 50,000 sf flagship in SoHo, located at 529 Broadway
