About Fritz

Fritz Richter is a Director in the Tri-State Investment Sales group at Avison Young’s New York City office, specializing in multi-family, office, development, and retail assets across Brooklyn and Queens. He also leads the firm’s Asset Resolution Team for the Northeast Division, focused on special servicing, REO, valuation services, and foreclosures.

Previously, Fritz was an Investment Sales Associate at Besen & Associates, where he focused on multi-family and development assets in Brooklyn and Queens, and an Analyst at Annaly Capital Management, where he structured a range of mortgage-backed products spanning construction, agency, and non-agency packages.

Fritz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, double majoring in Environmental Science and Philosophy. He is an active member of REBNY, YREPNY, USGBC, the Colgate Rugby Alliance (CRA), and the Colgate Real Estate Council (CREC). He currently serves as Head of the REBNY Brooklyn Committee (2023–2027), sits on the Board of the Salvation Army, and is a Junior Board member at Breaking Ground.
