About Jason

Jason Schwartzenberg joined Avison Young as an Executive Director in the New York City office in 2025.

Jason developed his tenant-focused expertise early in his career, spending twelve years with Savills’ predecessor, Studley Inc. He rejoined Savills in 2020 after serving six years as Executive Vice President at JLL.

Before specializing in commercial real estate, Jason worked in business development, first as a manager at Torry Harris Business Solutions and then for five years with several early-stage technology companies in San Francisco and New York, including Telco Communications, Digital Commerce, and InterWorld Corporation.

Jason specializes in maximizing companies’ efficiency and business value through their office space. His consultative approach enables firms to identify their real estate needs and make informed decisions that coincide with their goals. He aligns teams on financially sound strategies, then draws on his 20 years of experience to guide implementation and deliver bottom-line results.

Over the course of his career, Jason has completed more than 200 transactions totaling over 2 million square feet. He has represented a wide range of clients in the technology, finance, and professional services sectors, including Weidlinger & Associates, Thomas Publishing, Marchesa, Carter Ledyard & Milburn, and Global Infrastructure Partners.

Jason is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York. He regularly participates in charity events organized by New York Cares.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

In 2006, Jason was honored with a CoStar Power Broker Award. He was featured as a Real Estate Weekly Rising Star in 2007 and as a Real Estate Weekly All-Star in 2008. Transactions he completed in 2009 and 2010 were ranked among the top 50 leases in Manhattan by Crain’s New York Business.

Jason is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York. He regularly participates in charity events organized by New York Cares.
