About Josh

Josh LaRocca is a Principal in Avison Young’s Houston office where he specializes in acquisition and disposition services, as well as strategic planning and project construction management, representing both office and industrial corporate clients. He is a highly-regarded commercial real estate veteran with 25 years of experience. His ability to evaluate and identify clients’ needs and deliver quantifiable results makes him a strong asset to the firm.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Josh served as Managing Director with Studley, Inc. and Managing Partner at Mohr Partners. He also co-founded Blackstone Partners, a Houston-based boutique tenant representation brokerage firm.

Prior to beginning his full-time real estate career, Josh played in the NFL-Europe professional football league and had brief stints with the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys. He was the starting quarterback and team captain for Rice University’s football team and was named Academic All-Southwest Conference in both his junior and senior years. He led the Rice Owls to the Southwest Conference championship in 1994.
