About Luis

As a Principal on Avison Young’s Capital Markets Team, Luis Elorza manages acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, and equity placement for stabilized multifamily properties and development opportunities in Florida. Luis’ business background includes more than 25 years of real estate, investment banking and corporate finance experience. Over this time period, Luis closed more than $5 billion of multifamily transactions.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Luis was a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Northmarq’s Investment Sales, and Executive Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group, both in central and southwest Florida. Luis also previously held real estate and finance positions at Merrill Lynch's Global Prviate Equity Group, Citicorp Real Estate, and Ernst & Young Consulting. At these firms, he managed a broad range of real estate and corporate finance assignments including mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending, restructuring, privatizations, and valuations.
