About Mark

With more than four decades of experience and over $400 million in completed transactions, Mark brings significant expertise to his role as Avison Young’s Hospitality Broker in Alaska and as Senior Vice President and Associate Broker in the firm’s Atlanta office. A proven leader in commercial real estate, Mark combines deep market insight with a strong background in business development, construction, engineering, and project management - driving exceptional results for his clients and teams alike.

Mark is a distinguished member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and holds the elite Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute. He also made history as the first CCIM in Georgia to earn the Institute’s Development Specialist Distinction. In addition, Mark is a designated Design-Build Professional (DBIA) through the Design-Build Institute of America and served as the 2024–2025 President of the exclusive Real Estate Group of Atlanta (REGA).

A proud Georgia Tech graduate, Mark earned dual degrees in Industrial Engineering and Building Construction. He later completed a Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary and pursued further graduate studies in business, management, finance, and law - reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning and leadership.

Mark and his wife, Rhonda, split their time between their homes in Wasilla, Alaska, and Senoia, Georgia. They enjoy travel and spending time with their four adult children and five beloved grandchildren.
