About Martin

Marty Mikaitis joined Avison Young in 2019 and serves as a Principal within the Industrial Brokerage Services Group in the Suburban Chicago office in Rosemont, IL. He delivers comprehensive brokerage services—including tenant, buyer, and owner representation; build‑to‑suit consulting; land development; investment analysis; acquisitions; and dispositions. His primary geographic focus includes the I‑55 South Corridor and I‑80 markets in Illinois, as well as Northwest Indiana. Marty also manages national site‑selection assignments for clients across a wide range of industries.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Marty was an associate at Darwin Realty, where he developed a strong foundation in industrial brokerage. He began his career in the financial markets as a sales trader, concentrating on brokering and analyzing index options and futures.

Since becoming part of Avison Young, Marty has participated in transactions totaling 29.5 million square feet, more than 1,400 acres, and $800 million in total consideration, representing a broad spectrum of institutional investors and corporate users.
