About Mike

Mike Jacobs is a Principal in the Avison Young Capital Markets group in Nashville, where he is responsible for all sectors of investment sales, formulating acquisition / disposition strategies, feasibility studies, and market analysis for clients. He has been involved in over $1B sales transactions over several million square feet. Mike is a CCIM and is a member of Avison Young’s Global Affinity Group.

Mike has represented a vast array of clients ranging from developers and investors/users to publicly traded REITs and institutions. He previously was responsible for all financial underwriting for the Capital Markets Group for all property types. Aside from institutional clients, Mike serves a variety of private and international investor clients. Additionally, Mike was elected by the Nashville Business Journal as a Power Broker and 1 of 5 brokers selected within his Global Company to participate in an Emerging Talent Program.

Prior to entering into the Real Estate Sector, Mike was an Equity Analyst covering over 13 companies in the Consumer Product Sector. As an analyst, Mike was responsible for writing research notes and analyzing the investment quality and company fundamentals of public traded companies.
