About Peter

Peter Gross is a Principal with Avison Young specializing in transaction management.

Peter brings almost two decades worth of experience in tenant and landlord representation, acquisitions, dispositions and development assemblages. His expertise guiding clients through all stages of the leasing and sales process, from in-depth market research and detailed financial analyses to skillful negotiations, has led to his ongoing success in closing even the most complex transactions.

During his career, Peter has represented a distinguished and diverse group of clients, including Nexstar Media Group, The Soho House, Bank United, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kasowitz Benson Torres, New York Compensation Insurance Rating, J.D. Carlisle, Benedict Realty Group and Advance Magazine Publications and many of its affiliates including Conde Nast.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Peter was Co-head of Operations and a top senior broker for Douglas Elliman Commercial where he was the top grossing commercial agent in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Peter earned a degree in Political Science from Union College in New York. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York State; an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a member of the Board of Trustees at Salisbury School.
