PhilaPort on pace for second consecutive record-breaking year, following record high trade volume in H1 2025

- In the first half of 2025, the Port of Philadelphia (PhilaPort) recorded a record high 462K twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of volume through the port, with 233K TEUs of imports, and 228K TEUs of exports, respectively.
- Total quarterly trade volume at PhilaPort in Q2 ’25 measured 223K TEUs, with 113K TEUs of exports, and 109K TEUs of imports, respectively. Despite a 6.6% decrease from Q1 ’25, quarterly volume remains 37.5% above the 10-year quarterly average of 162K TEUs. Rising trade volume (imports especially) at PhilaPort continues to bring steady occupier demand for logistics and dry/cold warehousing space.
- In 2024, PhilaPort saw $6.3 Billion in produce alone move through the port, with 5.3 million metric tons of food imported.
