About Sandra

Sandra Hill leads Avison Young’s U.S. media relations team, driving sustained growth in national and regional media coverage while strengthening executive positioning in key markets. She builds strategic relationships with business, trade and mainstream media outlets across the U.S. to elevate the firm’s visibility and reputation.

Sandra serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, steering PR strategy across executive positioning, media relations, data-driven content, and issues management. She shapes and pitches stories that spotlight Avison Young’s expertise and expand brand influence across U.S. markets.

Sandra began her career with Avison Young in the firm’s Houston office in 2017 where she successfully led public relations initiatives and external marketing and communications efforts in the greater Houston area.

Prior to Avison Young, Sandra built a diverse career in media, communications and government relations, including senior communications roles with top-ranking congressional leadership officials on Capitol Hill. She engaged in government and industry relations efforts for Fannie Mae, where she advocated for homeownership and economic policy initiatives. 

Sandra’s leadership and influence have been widely recognized, including being named one of the most influential Hispanics in the U.S. by Hispanic Business Magazine. She was also named one of GlobeSt.com’s “Women of Influence” in the Marketing/Communications Professional category. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Jack J. Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston.
