About Thomas

Thomas Farrell works as a Vice President on Avison Young’s Debt and Equity Finance Team. In his role, Thomas primary responsibilities include working alongside Avison Young’s local and national deal teams to provide financial analysis in the valuation of assets of all product types, including office, multifamily, medical office, retail and industrial. In his role, Thomas oversees the production of offering memorandums, performs underwriting analysis and coordinates deal closings, among a variety of other responsibilities for debt and equity and Investment sales transactions.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Thomas worked at Walker & Dunlop and NewPoint Real Estate in their Bethesda and Chevy Chase, MD offices where he underwrote GSE Multifamily transactions for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Thomas attended Denison University where he graduated with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Economics and played on the Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team.
