About Will

Will Suarez is a Principal specializing in investment property sales in Avison Young’s Westchester / Fairfield office. Suarez is known for successfully bringing sellers and buyers of commercial real estate together where the parties achieve their goals while enjoying the process. Suarez brings nearly a decade of brokerage experience selling commercial properties in Manhattan. He has successfully managed approximately 100 transactions with an aggregate value of $1 Billion across all property types.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Suarez was most recently a Managing Director at JLL. Before that he was a Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, which followed the December 2014 acquisition/merger of Massey Knakal Realty Services. At MKRS, Suarez launched the Retail Leasing practice as Director before assuming investment property sales responsibilities.

Born and raised in New Rochelle, NY and a 20-year resident of Fairfield County, Will finally fulfilled his goal of working in his own community. Having joined Avison Young in December 2020, Will is totally committed to working with investment property owners to help them maximize yield while mitigating risk from their portfolios. Suarez is a member of Avison Young’s Asset Resolution and Capital Markets Affinity Groups.

Suarez continues to maintain relationships with many New York City based clients, many of whom also own and manage portfolios in the suburban markets north of the city. He maintains active Real Estate Licenses in both Connecticut and New York.

Suarez attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science / Industrial Design. Will has been married for 20 years to his wife Susan. They reside in Westport, CT with their six children: two in college, two in high school, and two entering middle school.
