Avison Young Adds Top Talent with Michael O’Mara and Stan Wyrwicz

The Net Lease Group Expands Footprint in Boston, MA with the Addition of Two Veteran Brokers

Boston, MA – Avison Young is pleased to welcome Michael O’Mara and Stan Wyrwicz as they join our national Net Lease Group and reinforce the firm’s presence in the Greater Boston market.  Both Mike and Stan will specialize in the Net Lease service line but will complement the investment sale teams across the nation.

As a 30-year real estate professional, Mike O’Mara was at Atlantic Retail, specializing in 1031 Exchanges, NNN Investments and other passive real estate investments including opportunity zones.  Prior to joining Atlantic, O’Mara was a director with Calkain Companies specializing in NNN Investments, Triple Net Properties and 1031 Exchange Buyer Representation. Between 2003 and 2011, O’Mara worked at Eastern Net Lease Advisors, a company he founded.

Stan Wyrwicz brings 40+ years of real estate and related financial expertise to Avison Young.   Most recently, as Senior Managing Director at Calkain Companies’ Boston office for nearly 10 years, he managed net lease sales transactions with a focus on 1031 exchanges and sale-leasebacks. Stan has held senior financial positions at both General Investment and Development and Cabot, Cabot and Forbes. As a CPA, Stan also brings extensive experience in financial analysis, and advising clients on relevant accounting and tax structure strategies.
