Craig Massey, a native South Carolinian, moved to the Charleston area in 1985. Craig, a College of Charleston alumni, spent over 30 years in the retail and wholesale grocery business with Piggly Wiggly. After operating several locations across the Tri County Area, Craig then spent several years as the Direct Store Delivery Category Manager in the Procurement Division. That lead him to become the Director and Vice President of the Human Resources Department. As half of his time was spent in retail operations, Craig has a vast knowledge of the retail environment and understands the many nuances of a retail shopping center.

Passionate about customer service, the move to real estate was a natural progression. Starting in the residential side in 2016, Craig brings a service based culture to the real estate business. Joining Avison Young in September of 2018, Craig concentrates in the retail market and is equipped to provide his clients with knowledge to buy or lease all types of retail properties.

In his free time, Craig is an avid outdoorsman, spending his time cycling, camping and playing golf. He is grateful to have the opportunity to serve both buyers and sellers and now commercial clients. Craig makes sure his clients are served in the classic Lowcountry style.
