Willie earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia, where he was also a student-athlete on the football team. He moved to Charleston in 2022, attracted to the thriving food scene and the coastal charm of the lowcountry. He resides in Daniel Island with his wife, Lydia, and two chocolate labs.
