Grant Hortenstine is a Vice President for Avison Young’s Industrial team led by Principal Bob Berry, SIOR.  He specializes in Industrial Tenant Representation in the Greater Houston market, representing clients in the lease and acquisition of industrial space. With his background in real estate and finance, Hortenstine implements proficiency in valuation services and real estate advising. His résumé of completed transactions spans across an array of industries, including logistics, distribution, manufacturing, chemical/hazmat storage, resin packaging, and food/beverage.

Prior to Avison Young, Hortenstine was a Credit Analyst for Plains Capital Bank in Fort Worth, Texas. He has been involved in many different commercial real estate transactions and services throughout his career, including sales, build-to-suits, investments, site selection, lease negotiation, lease restructure, and sale/leasebacks.

Hortenstine is NAIOP’s 2017 Industrial Rising Star recipient, an award that recognizes talented up-and-coming commercial real estate brokers. He is also a member of Avison Young’s Emerging Leaders organization, an internal group that is designed to support young professionals in advancing their careers, provide training and education and promote charitable leadership.
