Todd Mason is a Principal at Avison Young with more than 33 years of award-winning industry experience. With an extensive background in land and investment sales, he specializes in brokerage and consulting services for institutional and corporate clients. During his distinguished career, he has managed more than $3.0 billion in transactions. Mason, along with the Mason-Lindenberger team, offer strategic solutions, transaction management, and portfolio management to an array of Enterprise Solution and private equity clients.
Since joining Avison Young five years ago, Mason has been recognized by the company for delivering results. He was named Top Producer of the Houston Office in 2013 and 2014.
Prior to Avison Young, Mason was President & CEO of Mason Partners. He has held several prominent positions of leadership throughout his career, including Vice President of Real Estate and Joint Development for METRO, CFO and shareholder of McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company and Senior Director of Brokerage Services Group with Cushman & Wakefield.
Mason is an accomplished and well-respected power broker in commercial real estate with a long list of achievements throughout his career. At Cushman & Wakefield, he was awarded the company’s prestigious National Service Excellence award, twice. Most notably, he has consistently been recognized by the Houston Business Journal ranking highly on their Heavy Hitters List. He was honored by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) for its Worldwide Top 50 Industrial Transactions of 2018 and was nationally ranked as one of the Top 20 Investment Brokers by the Real Estate Forum in 2015.
Throughout Mason’s career, he has served as chairman on numerous boards such as Counselors of Real Estate, HAR, ACRP, Stella Link Redevelopment Association and Development Board of the Galveston / Houston Archdioceses. He is an active member of NAIOP and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
