Avison Young brokers sale of a Dollar General-occupied single-tenant retail property in Flint, MI
August 27, 2020Los Angeles – Avison Young, the world’s fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm, announced today that it has brokered the approximately $1.03 million sale of a single-tenant retail property occupied by Dollar General located at 1510 East Carpenter Road in Flint, MI.
Avison Young Principals Chris Maling and David Maling, and Principal and Managing Director James Becker represented the seller, Michigan-based Maplewood Partners, LLC. The team also procured the buyer, a Minnesota-based family trust.
“This property offered the buyer a corporate-guaranteed lease with nine years remaining, and four five-year options to renew,” said Chris Maling. “Essential needs, discount retailers like Dollar General have proven to thrive over this pandemic crisis and provide investors with a solid income stream.”
Renovated in 2019, the 9,774-sqaure-foot property is situated on 1.1 acres.
