Phil Kluesner is a Principal in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Avison Young office. He leads a Tenant Advisory and Enterprise Solutions team focusing primarily on projects within the Minneapolis and St. Paul office and industrial markets. Mr. Kluesner brings extraordinary experience, depth, and integrity to his practice. He has represented some of the fastest growing firms in Minnesota and outside the state. He is known for creating real estate strategies that support the long-term business goals and objectives of each client that he represents. As an industry veteran, Phil has amassed 41 years of commercial real estate experience. He joined Carlson Commercial in 2015 as senior vice president, following the merger of his firm (Gannett Peak Partners) with Carlson Commercial. Prior to starting his own firm, he was vice-president of industrial leasing and development with Duke Realty. Phil started his career as an associate with The Welsh Companies, where he leased more than 2 msf of commercial space.

Phil is active in the real estate industry as a member of the Minnesota Association of Commercial Realtors, Allied Executives, CFO Council and the Minneapolis Downtown Council. In the community, he has been an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is a past board member of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and business from St. Mary’s University in Winona.
