Russell Maltz is a General Superintendent for Avison Young’s New York office. With 30 years of experience in the field, Russell is responsible for site logistics, labor, scheduling and coordination of trades and tasks, ensuring that projects are built on time, safely and within the construction budge.

As Vice President/General Superintendent for Cauldwell Wingate Co. and General Superintendent for Libman Wolf Couples, Russell oversaw the day to day safety operations of the field, supervising and managing trades onsite while interfacing with clients, consultants and architects.

With an MFA in Painting, his attention to aesthetic detail, and his experience in creative problem solving proved a valuable resource in his role as Senior Project Coordinator/Superintendent with JRMCM. Recent completed projects include the new interior, electrical and mechanical upgrades for Ethical Culture Fieldston School in Riverdale, N.Y., The School of Visual Arts – Design, Sculpture, Painting and New Digital Media Studios, The West Side Montessori School in NYC and Art + Commerce division of IMG in Chelsea, NY.
