Bradford Mills started his career with Avison Young in July of 2017 in Philadelphia and specializes in helping corporate and nonprofit tenants save money on their office, industrial and laboratory leases. His market knowledge, negotiating skills, diligence and tenacity enable him to find cost-effective solutions to his clients’ real estate problems.
Brad has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate development, redevelopment, consulting and brokerage comprising 8 million square feet of transactions valued at over $1 billion. In a departure from the standard career progression, he served as CEO of a Philadelphia low-income housing company from 2007-08, where he made many operational improvements. Before beginning his business career, Brad served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, including service in Operation Desert Storm.
Brad currently serves as co-chair of the Philadelphia committee of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF), on the regional selection committee of the Jefferson Scholars Foundation, and on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Rugby Business Network. He previously served on the boards of MCSF and People for People, Inc., and was Chartered Organization Representative of Merion Liberty Boy Scout Troop. He plays rugby with the Doylestown Ancient Dragons and the Marine Old Breed clubs. Brad holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA from the University of Virginia.
