Ben Harris is an Industrial Sales & Leasing Specialist with Avison Young/Western Alliance Commercial, Inc in Reno, NV.  Mr. Harris and the AY industrial team works within Logistics, E Commerce, Manufacturing, Mining and all other facets of Industrial Real Estate.  Ben holds a NV Real Estate License as well as his P&C Insurance License.  Mr. Harris currently sits on the Board of Directors for NAIOP Northern NV and CREW Northern NV of which he is actively involved in Government Affairs, Sponsorship, Membership and Programs.  Ben has always been passionate about real estate going back to his very early twenties.  Ben along with older brother, Matt started a small real estate investment firm, H&H Investments that focused mainly on residential rehabs and flips.  Buying his first home at the age of twenty and partnering on many more gave Ben a firsthand glimpse into real estate trends, creative financing, steep equity gains and a subsequent deep recession.  In 2011 Ben went to work as a Business Development Professional in the Northern Nevada Mining Market where he fell in love with the industry.  Ben was heavily involved with the NV Mining Association and was working with some of the largest and most sophisticated open pit and underground mining operations in the US, if not the world.  After leaving the mining business in 2016, Ben went to work as a Commercial Insurance Broker, where he specialized in Real Estate and Mining related risks.  Real Estate was never too far from his heart.  Ben along with his brother, Matt decided it was time to team up again and join forces in the spring of 2020.  Ben and his wife, Kara have been married for three years and are both Reno Natives.  Ben & Kara enjoy living in Reno with their four kids. As a family they enjoy RVing, boating, gardening and spending time with their large combined family.  Their youngest child, a boy, Jude is a 5th generation Nevadan on his mother’s side.
