Avison Young welcomes Los Angeles-based Chandler Larsen to its 2020 Principal class

Larsen joins more than 600 Principals at leading Principal-owned and -led global commercial real estate firm

Los Angeles – Christopher Cooper, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Southern California region, announced today that Chandler Larsen has been named Avison Young Principal, based in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office. The distinction marks an important milestone at the leading Principal-owned and -led global commercial real estate firm. As a private and Principal-led organization, the firm’s culture is built on collaboration and taking a longer-term view to meet client needs.

“Chandler has consistently been an impressive and successful broker since he joined us five years ago, and is truly deserving of this promotion to Principal,” said Cooper. “His steadfast commitment to serving his clients, while meeting their goals and objectives, has afforded them with superior results that foster lasting relationships. Larsen is an office leasing specialist, focused on a variety of industries, including national law firms, entertainment, technology and financial services. He previously served as a Senior Vice President. Throughout his career at Avison Young, Larsen has been an active member and leader with the firm. Over the past two years, Chandler has played key roles in several large transactions totaling 1.3 million square feet of lease transactions, making him Avison Young Southern California’s 2019 #5 producer.

For the last four years, Larsen has acted as Avison Young’s Regional Emerging Leaders Ambassador.  In his role, Larsen has gone above and beyond all expectations to connect with other Avison Young Emerging Leaders, as well as other professionals, to grow the program and welcome new colleagues to the firm.  Chandler holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Development and Planning from USC and is a member of Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association (LACRA), Athletes Touch, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and University of Southern California Board of Counselors.
