Avison Young expands Washington, DC’s tenant advisory platform with veteran multi-market leasing professionals

Jonathan Danziger and Sam Werner bring nearly 30 years of combined full-service experience

Washington, DC – Avison Young Principal & Managing Director Josh Peyton announced today the strategic hiring of Jonathan Danziger and Sam Werner as Principals, where they will add depth to the firm’s DC region tenant advisory service line.

Danziger and Werner together bring nearly three decades of tenant advisory experience to the team along with deep knowledge and experience in the Washington area market, its industries, workforce and other factors that influence occupier decisions. Also joining the team with Danziger and Werner is Evan Lederberg as Senior Associate.

Danziger has represented occupiers for nearly 20 years, most recently as a Principal at West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors. A DC native, he previously served in various tenant advisory roles at The Ezra Co., a Washington-based commercial real estate firm.

Werner has been a tenant advisor for more than 11 years. He was most recently a Senior Vice President at West, Lane and Schlager Realty Advisors, where he was the top producer in 2020. Prior to that, he was an Associate Vice President at The Ezra Company.
