Daniel E. Goldenberg, Vice President at Avison Young, has earned the reputation as a passionate, energetic, and approachable leader who takes pride in enhancing people’s lives through their interactions with real estate.

Clients of Daniel’s strategy consulting and investment brokerage practice primarily consist of institutional investors, endowments, family offices, and high net worth individuals. Sophisticated investors value Mr. Goldenberg’s extensive experience investing as a principal in value-add commercial real estate. His clients respect his incredible track record as a private equity fund manager, his sound business acumen, and his hands on management style.

Mr. Goldenberg’s commitment to providing a superior client experience and his impeccable work ethic has allowed Daniel to achieve success throughout his entire career. Before joining the team at Avison Young, Daniel worked for Appian Capital, LLC, where he managed a $300 million private equity fund that invested exclusively in value-add real estate and development projects across the Western United States. Daniel’s clients enjoyed average annual returns in excess of 20%. He has also held senior wealth management positions at Morgan Stanley, LLC, and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., two of the world’s leading investment banks. In his first job out of college, Daniel won the prestigious “Rookie of the Year” award while working as an agent for the largest commercial real estate investment brokerage firm in the United States.

Daniel volunteers his time with nonprofit groups which are focused on promoting sustainable development along the California Coast and preserving open space for outdoor activities. In his free time, Daniel enjoys skiing, mountain biking, golf, reading, and staying current with investment and market trends. Daniel lives in Montara, CA with his wife and his two Labradors.
