Local investor makes second purchase to secure full block ownership in Historic West Tampa

Tampa, FL — Global real estate advisor Avison Young arranged the sale of an 18,600-square-foot (sf) retail/office building located at 2700 N MacDill Avenue in the heart of West Tampa, Florida on behalf of the buyer, Landmarc Realty, for $2.6M. This disposition marks the second purchase by the investment and development firm this year following its acquisition of Fountain Plaza, a 25,191-sf retail plaza located at 2800 N MacDill Avenue.

With the acquisition of 2700 N MacDill Ave, Landmarc Realty has ownership of a full corner in Historic West Tampa, totaling 3.12-acres and more than 43,000+ combined square feet. This is the first time the building has traded hands since it was developed in the early 1980’s and marks the final sale in the McDill Columbus portfolio.

Avison Young Associate Nick Mastro represented the buyer in the off-market transaction and has been tapped to lease the property, which is 91% occupied. Jeffrey Cotter of Absolute Investment & Realty Services represented the seller, McDill Columbus Corporation.
