Appointment underscores firm’s commitment to delivering flexible, data-driven solutions for office occupiers
Washington D.C. – Global commercial real estate advisor, Avison Young, today announced the appointment of Max Forrest as Senior Vice President in its Washington D.C. office. Forrest brings more than a decade of experience advising non-profits, associations, professional services, technology companies, and government contractors on their office space needs throughout the District, Maryland and Northern Virginia markets.
Forrest will work closely with the Occupier Services team led by Jonathan Danziger, focusing on guiding occupiers through every stage of the real estate process including space planning, workplace strategy, market evaluation, financial modeling and lease negotiations. He will also play a key part in expanding Avison Young’s tenant representation platform and deepening the firm’s capabilities across the greater D.C market.
“We are thrilled to welcome Max to our tenant representation team in our DC office,” said Josh Peyton, Regional Managing Director for Avison Young’s East Region. “His extensive experience advising a diverse set of office occupiers uniquely positions him to help clients capitalize on today’s opportunities—developing strategies and negotiating solutions that deliver flexibility and long-term value.”
Prior to joining Avison Young, Max served as Corporate Managing Director at Savills US. He previously held leadership roles as a Partner at The Tenant Agency and began his career as an Associate with Newmark.
“It’s an exciting time to join Avison Young as we continue to expand and strengthen the firm’s tenant representation platform in the DC Metro region,” said Forrest. “With more than a decade of experience in the D.C. market, I look forward to leveraging that experience to deliver impactful results for our clients. It’s a privilege to be part of a team whose values, energy, and commitment to using proprietary technology and data to guide workplace location decisions, align perfectly with my own.”
